A black glass pendant drop, originally from a chandelier, was the ideal shape for this Beaded Beasties beetle! Legs and antenna have been added using black wire. This handcrafted artwork will make an amusing and unusual gift for any beetle or insect lover.

Beetle is in his element wandering across the detritus of the forest floor made up of stones, moss, fallen wood and glistening water drops (glass nuggets), all new craft materials. A printed watercolour-effect paper in shades of green provides the background.

The black box frame is 20cm (8 ins) square x 3.3cm deep and has a hanging hook on the back.
