Set of Four Postcards - Beautiful Borders
A few of my favourite sights from the Scottish Borders appear in this high quality set of four postcards. Each image has been created from an original photograph to which I have applied various digital processes.
You will receive ONE of each card in the set. The four cards are:
Melrose Abbey - one of the four Borders abbeys, ruined but still very impressive. Although built of red sandstone, the light creates many more colours, which this image accentuates.
Griffin Capital - these creatures, along with thistles, decorate the top of a pillar found in the Roxburghe cloister at Kelso Abbey.
Phoenix Rising - is an interpretation of the (eagle-topped) gate pillar at Thirlestane Castle, home to the Dukes of Lauderdale.
Snowy Sycamore - I regard this as being 'my' tree! I love its shape and form throughout the seasons. The froth of snow and the colouration I have given the picture remind me of Japanese art.
Each postcard is 7 x 5 inches, is printed on thick card and has a matt finish. The reverse is blank except for the DArTworld logo printed in one corner.
These cards will be a delight to send and to receive!
