This framed picture is a high quality giclee print of the Greek god of the South Wind, Notus by Derrick Armitage. The image started life as a photograph to which a variety of digital processes has been applied to illustrate various aspects of the god's personality.
Notus is the summer wind, hot, desiccating, bringer of late summer storms.
The giclee printing process produces a high quality image. It has been professionally printed on archival cotton rag paper with a matt finish, mounted with a card surround in ice white and then framed behind glass in black wood. The print shows the god's name and has Derrick Armitage's DArT 'signature' in the bottom right corner.
This would make an ideal man's gift or be suitable for anyone interested in ancient history, greek mythology, meteorology or anything else really!
There are three other wind gods in this series that you can see in the photographs on the right.
The picture will be securely packaged and despatched by Royal Mail Special Delivery. A signature will be required on receipt.
